We use clinically studied COLLinstant® hydrolyzed collagen peptides.
These peptides provide concentrated glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, the dominant amino acids in dermal collagen. Beyond serving as structural raw material, collagen peptides also function as biological signals, with circulating dipeptides such as Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly stimulating fibroblasts to support the body’s own collagen and hyaluronic acid production.
Ten grams is not symbolic. It reflects the upper dose range used in clinical studies examining skin density, elasticity, and dermal structure.

Collagen requires hydroxylation (a stabilisation step) before it can form a functional structure.
Without sufficient Vitamin C, newly formed collagen lacks strength and integrity.
The body can only absorb a limited amount Vitamin C at once. Plasma levels approach saturation between 200–400 mg, as SVCT1 transport reaches capacity.
At 300 mg, this dose aligns with that physiological window; supporting effective collagen stabilisation without excess.
Collagen integrity depends on more than synthesis.
Zinc supports protein production and regulates matrix turnover, including enzymes (MMPs) that control collagen breakdown during stress and inflammation.
Copper activates lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that enables cross-linking of collagen fibres for strength and stability.
The 10:1 ratio reflects how these minerals function together. Because zinc and copper compete for absorption, maintaining balance supports connective tissue structure without disrupting mineral equilibrium.
Silicon supports the organisation of collagen fibres within the extracellular matrix (ECM).
Silicon supports fibroblast-driven production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), including hyaluronic acid, supporting hydration at the level of synthesis. In contrast, orally ingested hyaluronic acid is largely broken down during digestion, with only a limited proportion reaching the skin.
Plant-derived silica sources such as bamboo exist in rigid, insoluble forms that are poorly absorbed, whereas OSA remains soluble and available for connective tissue metabolism.

Two natural flavor combined: natural lemon and natural peppermint extracts.
To sweeten without compromising the zero-sugar profile, we use a single ingredient: Rebaudioside A at ≥97% purity, the highest commercially available stevia fraction. It contributes no glycaemic load and nothing that interferes with the formulation’s function.
It is the same protocol, for summer mornings.

The formulation is unchanged. What changes is the sensory experience.
This micro-batch introduces two natural flavor additions: natural lemon and natural peppermint extracts.
To sweeten without compromising the zero-sugar profile, we use a single ingredient: Rebaudioside A at ≥97% purity, the highest commercially available stevia fraction. It contributes no glycaemic load and nothing that interferes with the formulation’s function.
This is not a reformulation. It is the same protocol, for summer mornings.

Collagen peptides provide the raw building blocks your body needs, but building collagen is more complex than simply supplying those materials.
Once collagen is digested, the body breaks it down into smaller peptides and amino acids. To turn those building blocks into new collagen fibres, your cells also need key nutrients that support the process.
Vitamin C helps activate the reactions involved in collagen formation, while zinc and copper support the enzymes responsible for building and strengthening the collagen network. Without these supporting nutrients, the body may not be able to make full use of the collagen it receives.
That is why our approach focuses not only on collagen itself, but also on the nutrients that help your body put those building blocks to work.
Not necessarily.
The idea that marine collagen is automatically superior for skin is one of the most common misconceptions in the supplement industry.
What matters most is the quality of the collagen, its peptide profile, and how effectively it has been hydrolysed into smaller, absorbable peptides.
High-quality bovine collagen contains predominantly Type I and Type III collagen, the same structural collagen types found throughout skin, connective tissue, and the extracellular matrix. When hydrolysed to a low molecular weight, these peptides are readily absorbed and distributed throughout the body.
Marine collagen can also be effective, but there is no convincing evidence that it is inherently superior simply because it comes from fish. The quality of the raw material and the manufacturing process are often far more important than the source itself.
Hyaluronic acid is one of the skin’s most important hydration molecules, helping it attract and retain water. While many supplements simply add hyaluronic acid directly, our approach focuses on supporting the body’s ability to produce and maintain it naturally.
When hyaluronic acid is consumed orally, it must first pass through the digestive system, where it is broken down into smaller fragments before being absorbed. This means the body is not absorbing intact hyaluronic acid and transporting it directly to the skin.
We use bioavailable silicon from Living Silica® because silicon supports the skin’s structural framework and the activity of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and other key components of healthy skin. Research suggests silicon also supports the production of molecules involved in skin hydration, including hyaluronic acid.
Rather than simply supplying hyaluronic acid as an isolated ingredient, we focus on supporting the biological processes that help the body produce, organise, and maintain its own hydration network.
This reflects the broader Vita Katalyst philosophy: support the system, not just the symptom.
Most anti-ageing conversations focus on what can be applied to the surface of the skin.
Nurture Aging™ starts from a different premise: skin health reflects the state of the wider biological systems that support it.
The gut, immune system, nervous system, and skin are constantly communicating. When these systems are functioning well, the body is better able to maintain the structural proteins that give skin its strength and resilience.
Over time, factors such as chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, glycation, and increased activity of enzymes called Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPs) can accelerate collagen breakdown. These processes occur beneath the surface long before they become visible in the mirror.
Rather than trying to fight ageing, Nurture Aging™ focuses on supporting the biological systems that help maintain healthy structure, function, and resilience over time.
The principles discussed throughout this page are brought together in the Vita Katalyst Collagen Cofactor Complex™.
The formulation combines hydrolysed collagen peptides with carefully selected cofactors that support the body’s natural collagen-building processes, including Vitamin C, zinc, copper, and Living Silica®.
Every batch is independently tested for purity and safety by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories, and we make batch-specific testing information available so you can see exactly what is in the product you are taking.

Yes. Vita Katalyst collagen is suitable for men as part of a daily nutrition routine.
Men naturally tend to have thicker skin and higher baseline collagen density than women, but collagen still declines gradually with age. Men may also place higher mechanical load on joints, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue through training, sport, physical work and everyday movement.
Vita Katalyst provides hydrolysed, low-molecular-weight collagen peptides, a source of amino acids such as glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, which the body uses as building blocks for collagen-rich tissues including skin, tendons, ligaments and joints.
For men, collagen is especially relevant not for building muscle mass, but for supporting the connective tissues that help the body move well, including tendons, ligaments, joints and skin structure, particularly where regular training, sport or physical work places repeated stress on the body
